Iberostar Hacienda Dominicus is located on the beautiful beach of Bayahibe along the southeast coast of the Dominican Republic, approximately 90 minutes from the Punta Cana International Airport and 25 minutes from La Romana International Airport.

It’s close to a few different islands that offer lots of activities for tourists, like ATV driving in Saona, where you’ll cruise through fruit and sugar plantations and stop at the Chavon River. Or golfing in Casa de Campo, snorkeling in Catalina, or visiting Altos Chavon, where you can walk through art shops and museums.

You can also visit La Romana, a city that’s about 30 minutes away from Iberostar Hacienda Dominicus, where you can stop at a cigar factory, stroll through markets or go on an outback safari.

Iberostar Hacienda Dominicus takes care of having everything you’re used to like plush pillows, comfortable sheets, a cozy atmosphere, even a balcony or a terrace.

There’s a total of 498 rooms, 460 standard and 38 junior suites – all located in five buildings with one or two levels each. Amenities range from a dining and an outside sitting area complete with comfortable couch.

The standard rooms are equipped with A/C, ceiling fans, private bathrooms with shower or bathtub, hair dryers, two double beds or one king size bed, a private terrace or balcony, satellite TV, mini-bars, direct line telephones and safes. The junior suites have the same amenities plus integrated salons.

The Iberostar Costa Dorada resort boasts 3 specialty restaurants, including one adjacent to the beach, and 4 bars are situated throughout the complex.

Faro Bar, on the beach, national drinks and cocktails, open daily from 10:00am-5:00pm.

Lobby Bar, serving international drinks and cocktails, open daily from 10:00am-1:00am.

Pool Swim Up Bar, National drinks and cocktails, open daily from 10:00am-8:00pm.

Theatre Bar, serving international drinks and cocktails, open daily from 8:00pm-11:00pm

El Ingenio, Buffet, dress code casual.

Captain Nemo Disco, international drinks and cocktails, open daily from 11:00pm-2:00am.

El Colonial (*), Gourmet restaurant, Cuisine: International. Only for adults and children 10 years and older. Children under 10 years are not permitted on the restaurant.

Please Note:

• For dinner at the specialty restaurants it is necessary to make a reservation with the guest services desk. The resort will only guarantee a certain number of dinners based on the guests length of stay.
• Length of Stay & Amount of Guaranteed Reservations: 1 – 3 nights – 1 guaranteed reservation, 4 – 6 nights – 2 guaranteed reservations.
• Restrictions:
  • We accept more reservations if space is available.
  • Reservations have to be made in advance.
  • Dress code applies: gentlemen must wear shirts with sleeves at all specialty restaurants and they must wear long trousers at most of them. Appropriate footwear is also encouraged.
  • All the restaurants are non-smoking.
  • Also, at certain restaurants there is a minimum age: e.g. Gourmet La Couple IB Bavaro 18 years, Gourmet Restaurant El Colonial in IB Hacienda Dominicus 1 year.
